If I want to travel to Nepal from Europe or the US east coast, where do I begin?

The easiest way to reach Nepal from Europe and the US (east coast) is through cities in India, Qatar, UAE and Bahrain. The cities in India and the Gulf have direct flights to Kathmandu- you could catch a connecting flight to Kathmandu from there.

You can also catch an alternate route through Bangkok, Thailand. Travel to Bangkok, from where you can take a direct flight to Kathmandu with Nepal Airlines Corporation or Thai International Airways.
