Where is the International Mountain Museum in Pokhara?

The International Mountain Museum (phone 061 460742, 460343) is about the mountains in Nepal and the mountaineers who climbed them. The museum is to south of the airstrip near the Himalaya Eye Hospital. There are many interesting things like the original gear from many of the first Himalayan ascent. The museum also displays the history, culture, geology and flora and fauna of the Himalaya region. The museum opens from 9 am to 5 pm. There is an entry fee of Rs. 300 (around $5) for foreigners and Rs. 100 ($1.5) for citizens of the SAARC countries.
