What are some of the useful items that I should bring for travel in Nepal?

Sunglasses, a hat, sunscreen, hiking shoes, earplugs, a padlock, a torch (flashlight) will be very helpful while traveling in Nepal.

An umbrella, raincoat and anti leech oil will make your visit comfortable during the monsoon.

A face mask will be helpful during the visit to Kathmandu and other cities.

If you are traveling to the mountains, even if it is during the summer, a down sleeping bag, down vest or coat and fleece hat will be required.

Insect repellent will be required for your travel to Chitwan National Park or other parts of the terai region.

A swimming costume will be necessary if you are rafting, kayaking, canyoning or elephant washing and swimming.

Remember you can also buy a lot of these items in Kathmandu (capital city) whose shops boasts all quality and priced gears and items.
