Are any vaccinations required on entry to Nepal?

There are no such immunizations required on entry to Nepal but it is always good to take precautions. However if you come from an area infected with yellow fever, you are required to be immunized before entering the country. If you have taken any vaccinations make sure you get it recorded on an International Health Certificate which is available from a doctor or a government health department.

On your arrival to Nepal, some of the recommended vaccinations include those against Diphtheria and tetanus, Hepatitis A, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Japanese B Encephalitis, Meningococcal Meningitis, Polio, Rabies, Tuberculosis, Typhoid and Yellow fever.
